This panel discussion will feature some of our region's top Web firms. They will explore what it means to be a Web developer in Grey and Bruce---including some of the challenges and opportunities. Some of the topics that will be touched on during this panel include: access to professional development; building Web sites that are both modern and dial-up-friendly; the challenges of "due process"; and the art of writing a proposal. Talkin' 'bout HICK Tech

The relationship between rural areas and technology is such an important one, particularly in Canada where we are so geographically dispersed (even though 90% of us live near the border, it's a BIG border). If HICK Tech's success continues, I would love to see it become a national tour, delivered in rural communities across Canada.
