Just wanted to say what a great event it was. I really left feeling quite inspired!

This is a leading edge conference - the workshops are a mix of agriculture and community, the food served is all local, the conference is carbon neutral. It's a conference about technology, not a conference about the internet, although that's part of it.

The relationship between rural areas and technology is such an important one, particularly in Canada where we are so geographically dispersed (even though 90% of us live near the border, it's a BIG border). If HICK Tech's success continues, I would love to see it become a national tour, delivered in rural communities across Canada.

I love how the 2008 content streams are organized. Interesting!

I am glad that you are moving forward for a second year -- and what a great line-up you have. I am looking forward to hearing more and to attending the conference!
